This week in the Dragonfly Class
This week in the Dragonfly Class we will be talking about Families.  With the holidays fast approaching this a perfect time to talk about our families.  We will also be throwing some Thanksgiving art and activities. 

Friendsgiving Celebration

For our Thanksgiving Celebration we will do a Friendsgiving Fruit Salad.  There will be a sign up sheet for fruit for each child to bring in and we will make a fruit salad together, a celebration of cooperation

BAKE SALE! 

Our bake sale will be November 24th & 25^th.  We invite you to donate baked goods to sell at our Annual Bake Sale.  There are always some creative delicious goodies so stop by and pick up something extra special to share.

Canned Food Drive

We are starting our church-partnered winter canned food drive.  Please update your weekly newsletters and put a box out for canned food.  The church will make baskets on 11/20, however we will accept donations through December to help those in need. 

Family Fun Night

We invite your family to our Holiday Family Fun Night on Friday November 21^st from 5:30-7:00.  We will have a variety of make and take holiday crafts to create with your children, cookie decorating and a photo booth.

Santa Breakfast

Santa Breakfast Back by popular demand!!  Santa Breakfast will be held on December 6^th from 9-11.  Santa will give a gift to each child who attends.  Breakfast will be $3.00 for kids and $5.00 for adults.  We will need help making and serving breakfast, set up and clean up.  This is a great chance for parents to get some volunteer time!! Tickets will be on sale: 11/17-12/4.

Winter Concerts
Mark your calendars for our Winter Concerts. The Dragonfly Class will perform on Tuesday December 9^th at 6:00 pm.  The children need to be in our class by 5:45.  Prepare to be entertained! J
 
Word Wall
We will be talking about the letter Gg this week.  Please help your child find things that start with the beginning sound of the letter of the week.  This is a great opportunity for you to talk about letters and sounds with your child.
