Loose Change Drive

We will be ending our loose change drive this week.  Thank you so much to everyone that cleaned out your pockets and donated in Grant’s honor!  It is for a worthy cause in the honor of an amazing young man. Our class definitely showed their love and support.  So because our Money Monster got Very heavy we will have a frozen treat on Monday & Tuesday.  (It may be sno cones or ice cream)

 Homework

Starting this Monday & Tuesday I will be sending home homework with your child for them to work on during the week at home with you and then return it to put in their portfolios. They will get to tell us about the book they read and stamp their paper with a special stamp before putting it in their book.  It is a simple book review. You read a story together and then you child draws a picture about the book.

This week in the Dragonfly Class
This week in the Dragonfly Class will continue talking about Spring and all the things that come with Spring.  We will plant flowers, start a seed journal, and go on an I Spy Spring Walk.  We will also have flowers displayed that we free paint, so if you have any flowers blooming that you would like to bring in please feel free. Spade and a rake

With a Spade and a rake

And a hoe, hoe, hoe

Off to the garden patch I go!

Planting seeds in a row, row, row.

The Sun and the rain help them,

Grow, Grow, Grow!!

Thank you for sharing your lives with us!
