Thank you!
Thank you for all your help and donations to help make our Halloween Parties so great!
Thank you to all who have stepped up to help the Wade Family or who are going to help in the next few weeks. Our families are amazing!

Thank you for taking the time for conferences this week, your support and involvement is important to your child having a successful school year.

November Family Night

Our Family Fun night this month will be a holiday “make and take” craft night. It will be on Friday, November 22nd from 5:30-7:00. This free event will include ornament making, reindeer food, and cookie decorating plus a photo booth. The whole family is welcome to come get a jump on the holidays and spend some quality time together creating crafts.

Bake Sale
We are hosting our annual “Bake sale” on Mon/Tues Nov.25 & 26 during school hours. We will be taking baked donations to sell both days. If you aren’t a baker, then you can come and buy some goodies for your family Thanksgiving celebration! Either way, Thanks in advance for supporting our school.

Winter Concerts
Mark your Calendars for the evening of December 11th at 6:00pm as we present our winter concert to families. The Dragonfly Class will be joining with the Busy Bee and Sunshine classes on this night. We’ll be singing winter/holiday songs for your enjoyment and then afterward the scholastic book fair will be open for book buying. This is a fun night so be sure and plan to come.

Santa Breakfast
Little Acorn’s annual Santa Breakfast will be on Saturday December 7th. Tickets for that event will go on sale next week.

This week in the Dragonfly Class
This week in the Dragonfly Class we will be talking about Trees! We will discuss how trees look at different times of the year and how they look right now. We will sketch trees from around the building.

Word Wall
The letter of the week will be Hh. The children love to bring items into share and this is a great way to have them start to think about beginning letter sounds so we encourage you to help your children find something they can bring in that starts with the letter of the week. The items go in a container at the beginning of the day and then after they have been shared they will go home.
