Pajama Parties!
We
will have our Pajama
Parties this Wednesday & Thursday! Children are invited to wear their Pajama’s
to school and we will end our exploration of Nocturnal Animals with the Movie
Stella Luna. Open registration February 6th, 9:15 outside the office.
*For families who register for a PM class, we are asking that they also provide a second choice for a morning class in the case that we have low enrollment for the afternoons.
Laps for LAPSK
We will be hosting a fundraiser where the children get pledges for how many laps the can run or walk. This event turned out to be a lot of fun last year and I encourage you to all come join in! It will be held February 12th from 5:30 – 7:00.
Valentines
We will have a Valentines Party on February 11th and 12th. If you would like your child to hand out Valentines on these days please send 15 for each day. There is no need to address them but if you would please have your children practice writing their names. We will have a few treats but not a big party. I will have a sign up sheet for items to bring this week.
This week in the Dragonfly Class
This week in the Dragonfly Class we are continuing our Nocturnal Animals exploration with Bats! We will read Stella Luna, sings bats are sleeping and play a night and day dancing game. We will be painting a night scene and learn some bat facts!
Word Wall
The letter of the week is Oo. Please help your child bring in an item that begins with the letter O. We will only be sharing items that are related to the letter of the week, so if it’s not obvious please give us hint. J
