Jamberry Fundraiser
Kari Newell (aka Ivy’s Mom) is
holding a fundraiser for Little Acorn through Jamberry. She will be donating
25% of the sales to Little Acorn PLUS those sales will help earn free product
that will be donted to the Auction in March to raise even more money for our
fabulous school. By making a purchase you are actually giving
twice! Please check your child’s cubby on Tuesday January 20 for a
flyer! The sale will run from today until January 30th! A table will
be set up in the lobby of Little Acorn on Tuesday January 27th at 11:45 so come
early to pick up your kiddos and stop by for a demo, free sample or to buy some
wraps from the inventory that she will have on hand!

Open House:
Classes will be open for explorations on Monday 1/26, Tuesday 1/27 & Thursday 1/29. In preparation for next year’s registration we encourage you to explore classrooms and meet the teachers. We have these dates set aside for you to stop in the classes and talk with the teachers but please feel free to stop in any time to meet the teachers.
Registration: In-house (current students) February 4th at 9:15 in Jason Lee. We will have a first come first serve number drawing starting at 8:45. There will be coffee and snacks available for people waiting to register.
Open registration February 6th, 9:15 outside my office.
**For families who register for a PM class, we are asking that they also provide a second choice for a morning class in the case that we have low enrollment for the afternoons.

This week in the Dragonfly Class we are talking about other animals during winter time. We will be making bird seed cookies for the birds and real cookies for us! We will also be working on some portfolio work this week and focusing on doing our best work. We will

Shoparoo app - You can also download the shoparoo app, and each time you take a picture of your reciept, Little Acorn can get “roo points” (cash donations). You can scan receipts from restaurants, department stores, hardware stores, craft stores, electronics, sports stores, office supply, bookstores and cafe's. Shoparoo will not ask for personal information and all information is anonymous. If you try either of these we would love to hear feedback on what you think.
