Math & Science Family Night
Come join us May 30th from 5:30 – 7:00 for our last Family Night where we will be playing a Life Size Board Game, we will test which items will sink or float? We will be making our own volcanos and paper airplanes! Making our a personal water cycle, not to mention experiencing the chemical reaction you get when you mix root beer and ice cream!!

Summer Camp
Summer is sneaking up on us! Little Acorn is offering two weeks of different themed summer camps this year. The first week will offer Dinosaurs OR Disney and the second week will offer Pirates & Princess OR Legos. Each week will include outside water play each day! (As weather permits) Information is included in the link below!

Progress Reports
I am working on progress reports and hope to have them all done and copied by the end of the week.
This week in the Dragonfly Class
This week in the Dragonfly Class we will let our butterflies go and hopefully all the caterpillars we made in class will also transform into butterflies and the children can take their cocoons home and open them up later this week. We are also going to start talking about travel, about different ways to travel and different places to go and see where what the children come up with. I hope it ends up with camping and the beach because I have a lot of fun stuff but I want them to take the lead so let’s see where they take us! We will be going on an “in-house” sort of field trip next Thursday & Friday (5-29 & 5-30) as travel around Vancouver on the Bus! Parents are welcome to join us but they aren’t required to. If you would like to join us the fare is $1.70 in exact change for adults, children are free. I will send out more details later this week about exact time.
Word Wall
The letter of the week will be Yy! The children love to bring items into share and this is a great way to have them start to think about beginning letter sounds so we encourage you to help your children find something they can bring in that starts with the letter of the week.
